Getting Started
Welcome to the new Men's Rights Wiki! The primary goal of this wiki project is to counter false information (and outright lies) about the Men's Rights Movement on Wikipedia with total honesty. We are here to provide *entirely factual* information to non-MRAs, as well as a manual and aid for existing MRAs. The goal of the wiki *is not* to generate a new 'narrative', because that's a propaganda technique concerned only with information control. To be even more blunt: narratives are what we are fighting - and our weapon is the truth. As such, every writer on the wiki should aim to correct misinformation with logic and factual sources - not with ideological statements made as if they were fact.
Our Current Goals
- To create a comprehensive explanation of what The Global Men's Rights Movement is, what it wants, and what it values. This guide must be easily readable to the layman, and must not be written with the assumption that the reader knows anything about our movement.
- To document every major men's issue on a separate page as part of a 'manual' for MRAs. That includes male issues across the world.
- To critique and counter false information, including bias on Wikipedia and in academia.
- To dispel all myths about the movement, while promoting the truth - even if it is inconvenient.
- To counter myths developing within the movement. For example: the idea that we know there are 10,000 nerve endings in the foreskin, or the idea that Feminism is right about other countries outside of the West. Concessions made by MRAs to Feminists based on manipulative feminist data (that ignores male issues) needs to be rooted out. In far too many regards, MRAs talk like male Feminists.
- To review and criticise the gender dynamics in popular media.
- To keep the wiki clean of all racism, sexism, homophobia, and trolling.
- To keep the wiki focused on Men's Issues, without deviation. That includes the removal of material promoting or attacking **any** unrelated political or religious system, without exception.
- To provide a platform for public review of Wikipedia pages and other material showing extreme bias against men.
Our Ethos
We are an entirely egalitarian wiki concerned only with Men's Rights. This is not a platform to attack or promote any particular political party, race, religion, belief system, sexuality, stance on abortion, or anything else outside our purview. We do not belong to any one country, or one governmental system. We do not tolerate sexism against either gender. We are as international as the existence of men, and believe that men are a cause worth fighting for.
How To Get Involved
After you have read the editing guide on this wiki, you can contact us here or ask any member of staff on our Discord to gain editing permissions. This is not to 'preserve our narrative', but to hamper the efforts of trolls keen to imprint their own onto this wiki or to bring it into disrepute by posting false information/graphic images.
