Prepare Your Stubble – No-Shave-November Is Upon Us!

Movember (No-Shave November) is a yearly cancer awareness month that any man can participate in simply by not shaving! Most cancer patients will lose their hair, so let your facial hair grow wild in support. By donating, collecting sponsorships, and raising cancer awareness you too can help to kick cancer squarely in the nuts! It’s a great way to support a good cause, and maybe try out that stately handlebar you always secretly dreamed of. We’re not judging!

Want To Get Involved In No-Shave November?

You can register to participate here in five minutes, easy as. After that, all you need to do to help raise cancer awareness is… not shave! Tell people why! And raise money! Of course, you have to donate too so that researchers can keep those glorious nut-shots coming – but that’s as simple as getting people to sponsor your glorious facial forest. The organizers of No-Shave (another much smaller campaign similar to Movember), suggest you donate what a month of shaving would normally cost you, but we the sky is the limit with sponsorship. We personally support Movember as No-Shave is far more general and we like to focus on men’s health.

Of course if you are a lady, don’t want to grow a ‘tache, or are otherwise beard-deficient – you can still get involved! You don’t even have to wear a fake moustache if you don’t want to! The two charities recommended by Men Are Human are the American prostate cancer foundation, and also Prostate Cancer UK – but feel free to chose your own from the official No-Shave or Movember lists!
